AWSA 50 was the
largest multi-disciplined winter sports event outside the Olympic
Winter Games. It celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the
Army Winter Sports Association
SportsMark
was responsible for 18 months
of detailed planning and organisation, which covered every aspect of
our Event Management and Media portfolios. Altogether we booked some
8500 bed nights!
Working with our
associate companies we were able to raise a considerable amount of
capital from sponsors. National and local media coverage both
during, and after the event, was impressive and included 2 hours of
real-time coverage on BBC 5 Live.
